ADA and Handicap Porta Potty Rental in Spring Valley, CA
An ADA unit is bigger than a standard porta potty. It sits at ground level with no step up, so a wheelchair can roll right in. There's room inside to turn around, and there are grab bars on the walls.
What's Different About an ADA Unit
- Ground-level floor with no step
- A wider door
- Room inside to turn a wheelchair
- Grab bars on the sides
- More space for anyone who needs a hand from someone else
Who Needs One?
If your event is open to the public, you'll probably want at least one ADA unit. People also book them for weddings and birthday parties, for older guests and anyone who uses a walker or a cane. Some events and public sites have rules about accessible restrooms. If you're not sure, check with your town or the venue.
Placement
Put ADA units on pavement or on hard, level ground with a smooth path to the door. Soft grass, mud and loose gravel make it hard for a wheelchair to get there. Keep the unit close to where people will be.
